What is Chloroprene Rubber?
Chloroprene Rubber (CR) is a synthetic rubber that is also known by the trade name neoprene. CR has a good balance of properties, including chemical stability and usefulness over a wide temperature range. CR is used in various industries including manufacturing, automotive, medical, and consumer goods. It is mainly used for the production of rubber parts (cable coatings, industrial and gasoline hoses, coated fabrics, gaskets, tubing, O-rings and seals) and water-based adhesives.
